Chapman Visitor Policy

This post was updated on

The Chapman University campuses are open for visitors, with COVID-19 protocols to limit the risk of spread among the campus communities.

For the general public, such as prospective students, families, guest lecturers, recruiters, individuals attending on-campus meetings or events:

  • It is required to fill out the Visitor Daily Survey each day before coming to campus and receive a CLEAR message. Have the CLEAR message ready to show to Chapman staff upon request.
  • Face coverings must be worn at all times while indoors and they are strongly recommended while outdoors unless actively eating or drinking.
  • For on-campus outdoor events that exceed 1,000 attendees, face coverings are required.

For independent contractors, consultants or others visiting for university business (after following proper process to be approved for campus business):

  • It is required to fill out the University Business Daily Survey each day you are on campus, including your contact’s information at Chapman, and receive a CLEAR message. Have the CLEAR message ready to show to Chapman staff upon request.
  • Face coverings must be worn at all times while indoors and they are strongly recommended while outdoors unless actively eating or drinking.
  • Additional guidance can be found on the Risk Management website under “Contracting Procedures.”

We appreciate that all Chapman visitors comply with our CU Staying Healthy Guidelines while accessing campus facilities.
