COVID-19 Testing No Longer Required for Vaccinated

This post was updated on

Effective May 19th for the Rinker campus and May 24th for the Orange campus, faculty, staff and students who are fully vaccinated will no longer be required to participate in the weekly COVID-19 testing to access campus or take part in on-campus activities.

  • IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to be exempt from weekly testing, vaccinated individuals must fill out our self-reporting form. If this form is not submitted, testing will remain required and campus access will be revoked if testing is not completed. If you have already filled out this form, no action is needed. All data received will remain strictly confidential and will not be shared.

You are considered fully vaccinated after two weeks have passed, following the second dose of a two-dose series (such as the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines) or a single-dose series (such as the Johnson & Johnson vaccine).

    • Access to campus will continue to require Daily Symptoms Check, resulting in the CLEAR email, or visit chapman.edu/amiclear.
    • Face coverings will continue to be required for now while inside a Chapman facility for all faculty, staff and students.
