The upcoming Ask the Experts Research Town Hall focuses on the research and development of the CU Staying Healthy campaign focused on influencing adherence to campus COVID-19 protocols.

The tenth installment of Ask the Experts: COVID-19 Research Virtual Town Hall (July 27, 1-2:00 p.m.) Vice President for Research Tom Piechota will host Chapman faculty experts: Sarah Labelle, Ph.D. who recently led the charge as the Chair of the Health and Safety Campaign Subcommittee for the CU Safely Back Communication Task Force and will share her findings on campus safety messaging; Steven Gjerstad, Ph.D. who will be joining us to discuss the recent upsurge of cases and decline in mortality along with his projections on time required to bring cases down; Professor Claudine Jaenichen, a member of the Design Network for Emergency Management will share her experience working on information design as it applies to the COVID-19 pandemic and Chapman’s visual messaging; and Jeff Goad, Ph.D. will be presenting on the continuum of COVID protection: the Swiss Cheese model. The entire Chapman community (staff, faculty, and students) and the broader community are welcome to join to ask questions of the experts as part of Q & A.
