We are committed to doing everything we can to protect the health and well-being of our students, faculty and staff. Below are links to specific areas about preparing for your first semester at the university this spring:

UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
Be sure you are following the first year or transfer checklist for successfully starting in the fall. Checklists are available on our New Students website.
Details on the the fall 2021 semester will be posted soon and shared with incoming students and their families. Note that, based on the current trajectory of the virus and vaccine distribution, we plan to return to full in-person instruction in the fall of 2021.
On-campus Housing
For the most part, we anticipate the housing process to be very similar to pre-COVID conditions, though we will be taking precautions to help ensure the safety of our students as well as the campus and surrounding community.
- On-campus housing will be guaranteed and required for first-year students. However, you may petition to live off-campus if you will be living within 30 miles of Chapman with a relative.
- On-campus housing will be limited to incoming transfer students.
For more details on housing, visit our Housing Updates page.
