UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Be sure you are following the first year or transfer checklist for successfully starting in the fall. Checklists are available on our New Students website.

Campus Housing

Because we’re still trying to keep everyone on campus as safe as possible, campus housing will look a little different than usual this upcoming semester. Here’s rundown of what our on-campus housing will look this spring:

  • One student per bedroom.
  • Mostly private bathrooms (some students may still need to share a bathroom).
  • Meal plans will be required for everyone living on campus. Randall Dining Commons, our on-campus dining hall, will offer limited dining service with grab-and-go meals.
  • As long as we’re offering in-person classes, our on-campus Starbucks will be open. Other dining options on campus will be closed for the start of the spring semester.
  • The cost for a residence hall room will be $5,408 for the spring semester; spring meal plans cost an additional $2,660.
  • Move-in will take place the week of January 25, 2021, the same week as our virtual Orientation for new students.

For additional information, visit the Residence Life and First Year Experience website or contact reslife@chapman.edu.

Spring Orientation

Orientation will take place the week before classes begin. We are currently planning a fully virtual experience. In-person opportunities may be available as well. We will email information to incoming students and families as plans are finalized. You can also visit our Orientation website for more details.
