Department of Student Engagement Facilities are closed until further notice.
Student Facilities such as the Cross-Cultural Center, campus recreation centers, and Argyros Forum Student Union are closed. Reopening plans will follow guidance from the Governor’s Office, local health authorities, and the CU Safely Back Plan. We do not have a firm date of any reopening yet but please know that we will continue to update students after the University releases more information about resuming in-person operations.
CU Health and Wellness
CU Health and Wellness provides a centralized resource for students, faculty and staff to access Chapman health and wellness resources, tools and events. To learn more about maintaining wellness in your daily life, visit our centralized website.

Once higher education guidelines have been released from the State of California, Chapman is prepared to quickly finalize and release:
- Timelines and protocols for returning to in-person and hybrid instruction
- Safety and social protocols for housing
- Class format details
- Student life opportunities

Face Coverings
Face coverings are required on campus to help keep your fellow Panthers healthy.
Hands Washing
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Large Social Gatherings
Avoid large gatherings and opt for virtual-only activities, events, and gatherings.
Physical Distancing
Maintain a distance of six feet whenever possible.
