Vaccine Clinic Appointments Available for Students, Faculty and Staff

*Update 4/15/21: The Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) met yesterday and recommended to extend the pause on the Johnson and Johnson vaccine while they continue to evaluate the rare occurrence of blood clots in those who have received the vaccine.

Ralphs Grocery Company Pharmacies, who is sponsoring and managing Chapman’s vaccine clinic on Friday, has instead secured the Pfizer vaccine for the event. They are currently in the process of transferring over in their system those who have already scheduled their appointment with the J&J vaccine to the Pfizer vaccine. Those who have or are scheduling an appointment will be able to go in and schedule the 2nd dose on May 7, which will occur on campus, exactly 3 weeks after this Friday. You can read the full release here.

We are pleased to announce that Chapman, in partnership with Ralphs Grocery Pharmacies, will be hosting a one-day event to administer COVID-19 vaccinations. This exclusive event will be held on Friday, April 16, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Harold Hutton Sports Center, for Chapman faculty, staff and students.

Ralphs pharmacists will be onsite to administer the Johnson & Johnson 1-shot vaccine.  Advance appointments are required to be made through the Ralphs appointment system to receive the vaccination. In addition, participants must be at least 18 years old, have a Chapman ID and proof of the Chapman COVID-clear email, as required to be on campus.
